The Story

A collaboration with Joel Gott, Shatter is an obsession with Grenache and terroir. Shatter is focused on old vine, dry farmed Grenache grown in schist soils in the arid and hot Valley of Maury in the Roussillon region of France. Nutrient-poor soil, strong winds and scorching heat stress the vines and cause shatter in the grape clusters, which helps produce naturally intense, concentrated wine.
